About the Panelists
Aron Seong Soon Kim is a Trade Commissioner at the Vancouver Regional Office of Global Affairs Canada. He is currently working with cleantech companies in British Columbia. He’s also worked with various Canadian tech companies, helping them grow their business overseas. Aron also actively supports business women that wish to take their innovative ideas across the borders.
Chelsea Sang is a experienced leader in business operations and global trade. Having several years of experience working at a national law firm, she developed fundamental expertise in marketing and business development. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to join her third-generation family business, an established Canadian seafood retailer, wholesaler and exporter. Leading their business development and operations, she successfully grew their business in both international and local markets. Passionate about helping others through mentorship and empowerment, she takes pride in working with a variety of stakeholders to promote and support Canadian goods and services on the world stage.
Fatima Rasheed currently serves as the Program Specialist with the World Trade Centre Vancouver. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing the flagship, Trade Accelerator Program in B.C, connecting businesses with top industry experts and equips them with the tools and resources to find success as they grow their business internationally. Fatima is a certified project management professional with expertise in both product and service focused businesses. Alongside her role, she sits on the executive team for Voices of Muslim Women, where she spearheads the organization’s leadership programs. In addition to that, Fatima also mentors co-op students with Langara School of Management. When she’s not working, you can find her travelling or exploring new food and coffee spots around town.
