Jameel Sayani, CPA, CA, CAFM, is the Regional Managing Partner for MNP’s Northern B.C. Region (Terrace, Vanderhoof, Prince George, Quesnel, and Williams Lake). Based in Prince George, he leads the firm’s growth in Northern B.C. His focus is to mentor and empower our team members, while ensuring we have the required resources in place to meet diverse needs of our clients.
Jameel is also the Provincial Director of Indigenous Services for the BC and Yukon. Working closely with First Nations and Indigenous organizations, he takes pride in building strong relationships with his clients to help them develop strategic direction and realize their vision for their communities. Drawing on more than 10 years of experience in public practice, Jameel delivers a wide range of business advisory services to Indigenous clients in ways that align with their values, vision, and culture. Jameel has been a deal-flow advisor to numerous First Nations in BC and advised on deals as large as $30 billion.
Jameel is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA), designated in 2010 after receiving a bachelor’s in applied science degree at York University and a Diploma in Accounting at the University of British Columbia. In 2012, he became a Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager (CAFM). Active in his community, Jameel serves as a Director at Innovate BC, is a past Director with the CPA Education Foundation of B.C. and is the past president of the Nanaimo Youth Services Association. In 2013, he was named one of the Top 20 Under 40 for Vancouver Island.
