From Centre for Research on Inclusion at Work (CRIW)

The research report Everywhere, Every Day, Innovating highlights how women entrepreneurs in Canada redefine innovation through creative problem-solving, customer-centric approaches, and process improvements that often fall outside traditional technology sectors.

Through interviews with 146 diverse female entrepreneurs, including 23 Indigenous women, the study reveals that women’s innovations are frequently under-recognized. It addresses barriers like access to financing and networks while calling for supportive policies, inclusive resources, and broader metrics to empower women entrepreneurs and capture the full scope of their contributions.
