Being an entrepreneur is a journey and building a business can sometimes feel like an overwhelming process. Having the support of an experienced entrepreneur who has walked the path before and understands the landscape can be the beacon of light you need to see things clearly.
On December 12, we’re hosting three women for a Fireside Chat to share how mentorship has played a role in their personal and professional growth:
- Michelle Guillet is the Founder & CEO of Electric Parasol, a fractional operation, business management, and virtual assistance company with a creative edge.
- Salli Carter is the CEO of Carter Business Coaching & Consulting, where she empowers women entrepreneurs to navigate change and achieve exponential growth.
- Kaitlyn McConnell is the Skills Development and Mentoring Program Manager at WeBC, where she has connected thousands of women with mentors.
Whether you are looking to expand your network, connect and gain advice from a group of like-minded women entrepreneurs, or are wanting a personalized focus on your business, there are mentoring programs to fit your needs.
Join us to ask your questions and learn about the impact mentorship can have on your business growth!
This session will be offered in English with optional closed captioning in French.

She has been a part of the WeBC team since 2011 and has worked with women entrepreneurs at every level. Kaitlyn comes from an entrepreneurial family. She spent many years working with her father, who ran a successful Geo Technical Business in Revelstoke for 30 years, and saw first-hand the sacrifices and dedication that are part of entrepreneurship.
Kaitlyn is energized by business owners’ passion and enthusiasm. “I love learning about the diverse businesses run by our clients, hearing their stories and helping these women along their journey to success.”
Michelle Guillet
Michelle’s journey is rooted in deep collaboration with businesses across Canada and the USA. With nearly two decades of experience in industries including technology, finance, design, healthcare, health and safety, oil and gas, news media, fitness, and art, she founded Electric Parasol to challenge outdated job roles and corporate red tape. Michelle’s vision offers clients a higher standard of service, serving as an effective catalyst for growth and success. Her deep-seated belief in a holistic lifestyle for both business and personal life guides her approach, ensuring a balanced, comprehensive strategy for each client.
Michelle seamlessly blends her deeply creative side with her process-oriented, highly organized efficiency, calling upon the right tool at the right time to help her team and clients achieve their goals and receive the support they seek.
