Phoebe Sutton is the founder and principal consultant of Clarendon Consulting, a Nelson, BC–based firm dedicated to helping nonprofits transform vision into community impact. A UK-qualified lawyer with a background in law, technology and project management, Phoebe brings over a decade of experience guiding organizations through complex initiatives, including capital campaigns, grant strategy and operational planning.
Since establishing Clarendon Consulting in 2022, Phoebe has supported organizations in the Kootenays and Vancouver with major projects and funding strategies for arts, culture and recreation initiatives. Her work emphasizes financial sustainability, stakeholder engagement and measurable outcomes for community benefit. Phoebe is actively involved in local governance and community leadership: she is a former President of the Nelson & District Arts Council and currently serves on the Nelson City Housing Committee.
As a Director on the WeBC Board, Phoebe is committed to strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem for women across British Columbia and supporting the growth of vibrant, resilient businesses, particularly in rural areas.
