Meet the Facilitator

Dawn McCooey

Dawn holds a Master of Arts degree in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University as well as a Certified Management Consultant designation. She has over 20 years of experience in workshop design/facilitation and leading teams. Author of the Amazon Bestseller: Keeping Good Employees On Board (endorsed by Jim Kouzes of The Leadership Challenge). Formerly Skills Development Manager with WeBC, Dawn is available for keynote addresses/or workshops related to business growth and employee retention. Dawn brings an enthusiastic and engaging approach to all aspects of her work.

Prior to WeBC, and at the peak of her consulting work, Dawn managed 32 employees in 3 offices in Victoria. Her breadth of experience spans diverse industries and groups and topics – but her heart is always connected to solutions related to employee engagement and retention.

Dawn was also a guest Mentor (as the HR expert) in two seasons of the Reality TV Show “The Hard Way”
