Hatch Your Farm + Food Business is a six-part workshop designed and delivered by food industry experts Good to Grow, in collaboration with BC Association of Farmers’ Markets, with support from Vancity.

This one-day workshop is designed for:

• those that have an idea for a farm or food business and want to learn what it takes to start;
• those that have a new business and product and want to start selling at farmers’ markets;
• or existing farmers’ market vendors looking to validate a new product.

You will learn how to build a strong foundation and successfully establishing your product at the farmers market by covering the following topics:

Part 3: Recipe Development – Scaling & Costing
Part 4: Branding and Labeling your Package
Part 5: Pricing, Margins and Building in Future Distribution
Part 6: Building a Successful Farmer’s Market Experience
