Mint Cleaning is an eco-friendly cleaning company owned by two Ucluelet Moms, Robyn and Monika. They started Mint in 2016 as a cleaning company and, after suffering from the harmful effects of harsh cleaning chemicals, developed their own products that are safe for both families and the environment.

On social media, Robyn and Monika are known for their trusted cleaning tutorials, aligned collaborations and hilarious content. They currently have over 55k followers on Instagram and won the 2023 E-Commerce Experience Award from Small Business BC.

Meet the Facilitator

Cathy Burrell, WeBC Client Service Coordinator

Cathy Burrell is an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience owning and operating a variety of businesses. She has a Master of Education degree from the University of Calgary, specializing in adult, community and higher education. She has taught digital literacy and communication education to adults and has worked as a consultant for business owners to give them insight into their digital customer base.

Cathy believes COVID highlighted the importance of clear communication, both online and offline. She currently works as a Client Services Advisor for WeBC helping clients develop their social, listening and critical thinking skills. In her experience, knowing when to talk and when to listen is key to empathy and understanding, and she works with clients to find that balance in their business.

Robyn and Monika

Robyn and Monika are the founders of Mint Cleaning located in Ucluelet, BC. We met at a mom group in 2016, it was a frienship aht first sight and business partners the following day. We started a cleaning company that became an overnight success with a full team servicing vacation rentals, residental and commercial cleans. After suffering from the harmful effects of harsh cleaning chemicals, we wanted to switch over to safer, eco-friendly products. As professional cleaners we know what is required to get the job done right.
We started to experiment with some of our own recipes and formulated a cleaning line that is both effective and safe to use in your home. Our products are handmade in small batches with the highest quality ingredients that optimize results while being eco-friendly,all natural and non toxic.
