We’re here to support you and your business
As a friend of WeBC, you’re in business for yourself, not by yourself.
We’re here to help you navigate your business journey as you start, lead and grow your business. Our holistic approach means we get to know the woman behind the business so we can connect you with the right networks, capital and resources to help your small business grow and thrive.
When you need guidance to determine your next step, just ask us!
Join a Peer Mentorship Group
WeBC is pleased to partner with Nation2Nation to offer our Peer Groups for growth-minded women!
Peer Groups offer feedback and fresh perspectives on your business challenges and growth opportunities, using a solution-based approach. Sessions are guided by a Mentor who is an experienced entrepreneur, and the Mentees use action learning to problem-solve in real time.
Peer groups allow you to:
- Learn from the insights and diverse experiences of a group.
- Explore alternative solutions or approaches you may not get to on your own.
- Shorten the learning curve by benefiting from other women’s knowledge.
- Overcome the overwhelm of increased responsibility and risk as you grow.
- Extend your network: Need new talent, a new supplier? Tap your peer group for referrals.

Other WeBC Programs and Services
WeBC approaches funding differently from traditional financial institutions. Our eligibility criteria is broader and we provide each funded business with complimentary services that support the woman entrepreneur in developing and strengthening her business.
Our core funding program provides business loans of up to $150,000, and women who apply for $50,000 or less may qualify for our Equal Access to Capital (EAC) program which does not require specific security. We are also the BC Loan Fund Partner of the WEOC National Loan Fund.
